I can understand not everyone will like everything, especially in terms of music but I don't understand why Hobo Johnson gets criticised SO much. Sure this is the epitome of music that "isn't for everyone" but I don't see anything worth foaming at the mouth over. What's happening in Britain right now is a bit of a joke, and slowthai is bringing his point of view to the table here. I really like the comparisons to this being a modern day 'Never Mind the Bollocks". Slowthai oozes with talent and this is a HUGE statement to put out as a debut album. It's angry and frustrated at times, yet beautiful and retrospective at others.

One of the boldest and weirdest best debut albums I've ever heard. Black midi are making a statement and making it fun.
