For my 100th review I wanted to talk about an album that means a lot me, and the obvious pick of the bunch is My Bloody Valentine's 'Loveless', my favourite album of all time.

My history with this album started when I was around 14, I was in a bookstore and I seen one of those 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die books, and I decided: "why not?". To give more context, at the time my musical taste was far from what it is today. I tended to avoid anything that wasn't classic rock ... read more

2020 MUST HEAR ALBUMS #36

Thee Oh Sees/Oh Sees/Osees/The Band That Like To Change Their Name are back at it again with yet another thrilling and wild psychedelic rock album, but this time it manages to surpass the already quite high standard I've had for the band's new music given the quality of their last several releases.

It goes without saying that A.G. Cook is an absolute talent and has done some pretty selfless behind the scenes work to bring a lot of the most exciting pop releases of the last few years to life.

Sometimes ambition leads to great things, other times it leads to a two hour long album that comprises of several dozen great tracks and several dozen tracks that really didn't have to exist.

Listening to the lifeless and generic glam rock on 'WE ARE CHAOS' just makes me wonder what it must have been like to be alive in the 90's, when a new Marilyn Manson album would have been shocking and exciting.

I could try to pretend I have a lot to say about an album of what is clearly substanceless, lowest common denominator, commercial pop music, but I really don't.

Heey, when I created my account I synchronized it to my job’s e-mail address without noticing, and now during quarantine I got fired and I needed to change my account before I lose access to it since I didn't get a response from Aoty's team :(

It's sad, but I managed to post everything I had in the old one. Now I'm just waiting for my friends to follow me back again haha thx for asking and following me

Sorry for all the self-promo, but I just dropped a single that I'm quite proud of.

I do my ratings /10 and I round down so an 89 would still end up being an 8/10
