ACTUAL REVIEW:
Yeah this is a bit boring. The production is meh at best, weirdly, for an artist with such popularity, but here we are! I've never really listened to K-pop before and I can confirm that this probably isn't the best place to start, but i don't give a shit to be honest.
Before this fully turns into a Remi review, let's start with the tracks! The first track is surprisingly not bad. It's got a nice atmosphere but lacks many interesting qualities. The rest is not even notable other than from a lot of the acoustics and atmospheric rays of emotion Jimin tries to go with here, but sadly not even that can save this EP. The vocals are mediocre, the production is.. mid, and the lyrics are boring. The repetition is probably the most annoying part of this record and the only "notable" part I guess? Surprisingly not as bad as I expected, but still bad.
Also why does Set Me Free Pt. 2 have Bladee esque autotune?

I am always so hesitant to review k-pop because I can never trust scores that I see given to them. Outside of the NewJeans project from last year that was actually pretty good. I just need to wait till I hear a single that piques my interest and then I need to enter private session on Spotify so I don't get recommended more kpop in my feed.

@hexo it’s amazing and every song is different from eo still somehow manages to tell you different parts of same story. Don't trust these ppl. Jimin has been envied by many kpop stans cz he is more talented and successful than their favs. Hope u enjoy

Oh also! As someone who also used to have quite the distaste for K-pop, I would highly recommend SOUL LADY by YUKIKA. It is a fun little modern city-pop record that really opened me up to the appeal of the genre. It has a lot to love, and I enjoyed it a lot :)
