Solar Power is rather simple compared to her previous efforts. Sonically, not that experimental and quite monoutonous, yet somewhat refreshing for an artist known for such an opposite music wave already explored in both Pure Heroine and Melodrama. Lyrically, definitely more mature and less impressive in terms of structure and message. Contextually, it shows it's highly related to her recent life experiences that made her come up with something brighter.
