People are hating on this album too much imo. It’s not a masterpiece and it does get boring in the end, but the hooks are solid and the production is fine if not a little bland. Dave sounds fine too. The polarizing critic reviews made this seem more interesting that this is but people are calling it garbage when it’s perfectly serviceable alt-pop, if not a little boring

Griff seeks like a really nice pop star with a nice voice, solid lyrics and solid production only brought down by the album being repetitive by the end and no true x-factor despite her general quality, however, she is a one to watch

Eminem sets out on a mission to prove to everyone why Slim Shady doesn’t work in 2024, and he’s right. The album is long and annoying at times. He keeps reusing trans and canceled bars to sound edgy, and it does shows the difference between culture from the slim shady era to now. Jack Antonoff gotta get in the bin, we have Finneas. This is a cool album as Billie leaves her comfort zone for a more pop sounding album. The aesthetic of her debut is gone and her delivery doesn’t even sound whispery anymore, however, she still has her signature voice and lyrics. In the crowd of folky singer songwriters Adrianne is the best. I've had my problems with many of them if you check my reviews but this is something else. This does exactly what the others are trying to do and makes a heartfelt experience with tasteful production, but it keeps engaging which is the problem with the others in this extremely oversaturated lane.
