Getting back to the basics (before Phil Spector neutered these lovely songs)!

Erykah Badu’s tactful blend of jazz, blues, soul, contemporary R&B and hip hop coupled with her wildly introspective lyricism make Baduizm such a creative debut album, one that ushered in the sound of neo soul. The structuring of the tracks on this album is a little questionable, but with songs this damn good, it’s hard not to love this.

This reminded me of Kid A. The only difference is that Kid A is actually good and I’ll never listen to this again.

If this is the last album we get from Radiohead, I’d find it to be a fitting conclusion to their discography.

The thing that holds up the least about this album is R. Kelly singing that he’s not guilty.

The classic rock. Feel like younger people who are into older music in stuff are usually into series like Harry Potter.
Dec 5, 2021
Oh I was just curious. It's hard to explain, but some of the music you rated gave off Harry Potter vibes, and I don't mean that as an insult cause tbh I used to binge that series hard, haha.
Dec 5, 2021
Hey! Weird question lol, but are you into Harry Potter?
