Favourite Tracks: You, Creep, Stop Whispering, Anyone Can Play Guitar, Vegetable, Lurgee, Blow Out
Some of the most beautiful songs this year has to offer.
Since the album has 20 tracks I wrote down my immediate thoughts after listening to each track.
Change - wow, eye opening lyrics
Time escaping - nice chorus, creative production (clapping when referencing clapping)
Spud Infinity - nice and funny lyrics, string tension over a very relaxing and nice instrumental
Certainty - My heartttt aaaaah
DNWMIBIY - Magic
Sparrow - I'm transported listening to this song of adam and eve

This one grew on me over the years. By far one of the strangest yet most intriguing BROCKHAMPTON records. Wide range of influence from back to front showing the skill this group carries as artists. Iridescence has some of the most hard hitting verses in any BROCKHAMPTON album I've heard. Emotionally potent and it still blows me away how detailed and powerful this album is considering how short of a time span there was to push out this album.
I'm absolutely blown away. This album has some of my favourite songs this year.
Stunning vocals, some of the most refreshing sounds I've heard this year.
Favourite songs: BAD MODE, PINK BLOOD, Time, Not in the Mood, Darenimo Iwanai, Find Love
I LOVE THIS CHEEKY MOTHER FUCKER. Short, hot, sweet, full of funny lines and genuine love for his art.
"Pussy bald like Joe Rogan"
Such a well thought out, emotionally intimate and expressive project.
NICE. (This is my first FKA twigs album)
There are a ton of bangers here filled with great alternative pop production. Had a great time listening to this mixtape, super fun and impressive throughout. At its lowest it pulls of above average pop tunes, but when this project shines I am teleported into her world.
Her vocals stun me, especially on "careless" oh my lawd.
"thank you song" is one of my favourite songs this year, it's grand, emotional, weird, arca helps create this ... read more
There are a lot of aspects on Now or Whenever which are nice and nice to hear from the abrupt opening of Catch You On The Way Back In to the hazy guitars on I'm Not Crying You're Crying. For me though, I find a lot of this album quite predictable and doesn't push many boundaries which is fine since the songs are still catchy and fun.
The lyrics don't really catch me, I would say the instrumentals and vocal melodies really carry this for me.

The section from "Take My Breath" to "Here We Go... Again" shines as bright as diamonds. In absolute 90s/80s heaven.
Jim Carrey's addition to this project made such a huge difference for me, having him narrate as fate and advertise the "other side" was such an immersive and awesome touch to this project.
It's quite obvious this picks up from After Hours. We watch as the protagonist reminisce on his life and his loved ones before as they are ... read more
The Weeknd made a very enjoyable, trend setting album. The narrative involving drug use is an eye opening and intimate look into Abels past.
Consistent, great beats, great bars, decent flows. Daniel Son and Futurewave seem in tune with each other, it's an absolute joy to listen to. Both of them have great talent and I hope they get more recognition after this great album.
Fav Tracks: Full Moon, Field Trips, Nostrildamus, Son Set
In my own opinion there isn't a ton of substance to dig into on this project. The awkwardly pitched vocals sounds silly to me and sometimes broke my immersion with the record entirely. With how slow paced this EP is, it can get difficult to keep my attention as there aren't a lot of substantial details which grip me or pull me deeper into this interesting setting.
Shadow Paradise is a lot better for my own tastes, the slower pace works to its advantage as it constantly shifts tones and sounds ... read more
Woah.
I'm immediately gripped by this thick atmosphere. There's an extremely specific feeling throughout this project which I've never heard pulled off this well and this consistent in any album I've listened to so far. While absolutely smashed at a party, the music although is the only thing you're able to hear and encompasses your mind, is somewhat soft and comforting. Nothing else matters at this moment than the solemn and slightly depressing intimate comfort you feel within this chaotic ... read more
This is the first NANORAY album I've listened to. Digimaiden was a solid listen overall, it contains some great beats, colourful production and builds an interesting atmosphere over the second half of the project.
The transition from DT to Magic Mirror Mayhem! got my blood pumping to see where the project went next. 1,000,001 MOLA is probably my favourite track, it's bright and seems like the perfect song to watch one of those 120fps anime dancing loops with. A lot of these songs in the first ... read more
