Words can't describe how excited I am.
My favorite white woman is back with a subdued title track for her upcoming album and I'm obsessed. Not only does this track have a unique vocal flow, but it encapsulates a recent vision I've been having for a while now which only helped me connect more with it. The themes Lana has displayed over the last year for this new record give me heavy trailer park vibes and I'm honestly here for it. As depressing and restrained as this can sound, her incredible monotone voice, those incredibly tinseled drums, and the ever so hollow-sounding outro are so eerily inviting. This song specifically feels like being greeted at a party by one person knowing that you're about to meet many more. Hearing the faint radio playing on the other side of the house, this track feels like the prelude. Even the track title brings me such an ambiguous vision I'm having a blast interpreting. Lana doesn't let me down, this is very good. Not too progressive reflecting on her past work but very reflective of what she does best.
