I never got the Geese hype until checking out this album and it blew my mind. Cameron Winter manages to show how good he is at song writing and his vocals, although off putting at first, end up giving the album an emotional pain to it. I love how this album also flows, slowing and picking up the pace along the way. I’m sure this album will make Cameron be remembered as on of this centuries best singer songwriters
With the loss of a founding member, the rest of Injury Reserve have been able to push through and be able to create something truly special. Now known as By Storm, the duo showcases their incredible talents and the first song made me tear up. I’m excited to see where Parker and Ritchie go. Rest in peace Groggs
Holy shit this album is haunting yet beautiful, everything sounds like organized chaos and makes for an extremely intriguing and rewarding listen
Sad to hear what could have been. This is definitely a staple of blog music though and serves as a perfect time capsule
The praise literally says it, this album is a must hear. Hayley Williams continues to prove why she’s one of the best
One of the best post hardcore albums I have listened too with an incredible concept. Seriously catchy riffs, I can’t get enough of this album
Happy Death Grips (fr though really good listen and nothing but fun)
Unforgivingly loud with killer tracks, no filler. Makes 40 minutes feel like a swift kick to the head, dope album
A good Alchemist release. Larry June just sounds like he’s not as sharp in his writing here though and Curren$y sounds like he wasn’t told he was gonna be featured until a week before the album dropped. However, as a background listen it’s solid and the only word to describe this album is “good”
A good solid installment in the HWH series. Tragic they butchered the hell out of Science Class on streaming though 😔. Great production and features though, shoutout to Peppas with that stellar Black Star feature
A fucking must listen oh my god. Athens, France makes me feel chills run down my spine and still makes me feel dread. The Instrumental opener is also great and really sets up the whole album. Sunglasses is just a punch in the gut. Everything about this album is phenomenal, I love the art direction in this thing. This album establishes a very unique atmosphere that doesn’t skip or miss for its whole runtime
TS album fire 🥹 not my favorite but damn is it close, really solid listen
An extremely hidden gem and a really great post hardcore album. First listen rocked and I wish the band had more stuff besides their 3 albums. My only question is how the hell do they have less than 100k monthly listeners??? These dudes rock
I don’t think I can thank my best friend enough for this recommendation and really all the other ones she’s given me. Ball knowledge after ball knowledge and this was the album that kicked off my post hardcore journey. This album is so fucking good, Car Underwater and Stay On The Ground are my favorites on here and the whole album is a very cohesive punch to the head. In a good way though. Incredible lyrics, incredible riffs, just banger after banger. This album and this whole band ... read more
A great continuation to the first EP, not as good as the first one but still continued to show why ALC is a great producer who works with his features well. It’s worth checking out
