Seriously, it's one of the best albums to grace my ears. Every song is so different, but you see how they go together. The production is fantastic and so pleasing to listen to nearly 40 years later. Shout is exceptional with the commentary. The background music is beautiful and so pleasing. The Working Hour is genuinely GORGEOUS. Very strong start, very nice music and all the samples are amazingly put as always. The middle tracks sort of get lost, Hey Jane, Tomorrow, and I Killed You were pretty good but not amazingly memorable or particularly my favorite. Pleasant listen, if you're starting to listen to Tyler I think this is good to phase into it.
It's not my favorite album by Wham, but I think it's a very solid debut album. It's very inconsistent, but mostly because they were originally singles, so I don't fault them too hard for it. I love all the songs, but some of them start very similarly and are either forgettable (Come On!) or too similar (Bad Boys and Young Guns (Go For It!)).
