Coldplay - Parachutes

A much-needed breath of fresh air.
January: The coldest month in Oslo.

A cold winter's day in Oslo, Norway. It’s your first day of school. ‘Don’t Panic’ you repeat in your head. The breeze absorbs you, sending shivers down your spine. The train arrives. You had hoped they would spy on you, you didn’t want to feel invisible anymore. You walk into the train and grasp on the cold silver handle; you get a spark of electricity feeling that somehow excites you. You ... read more

Squid - Bright Green Field

Slathered on with 54 minutes of crack cocaine and heroin, the fucking energy in this album is incredible and such an addicting album. Expect the unexpected. Squid did not fail to impress. This is a huge must-hear album. The repeated lyrics make the tracks so unforgettable. Out of this world transitions. It's BOLD, and I am here for it.

Edit: I am not here for it anymore.

Celeste - Not Your Muse

STUNNING! A rollercoaster of emotions in this album.

Her unique style was wonderfully executed from start to finish. Celeste is a brilliant singer with a voice that soars above the rest. This was a brilliant work of art. I couldn’t grasp the emotions I felt while listening to this. Not only did Celeste exceed my expectations, but she brought so much more to this album than I expected: vulnerability, passion, and heartwarming energy. Very replay-worthy. Celeste has such an excellent ... read more

Doji Morita - Good Bye グッドバイ

The inspiration for Doji Morita’s ‘Goodbye’ album was the death of a friend.

Doji Morita was quite a beautiful and genuine musician. A quite unknown being she was.
Her first-ever album, released in 1975 グットバイ translated to ‘Goodbye’.

The approach of this album and as it blossomed into such a beautiful story has such a powerful effect on me. The genre being Psychedelic folk, quite an entertaining genre to tune into and such a great combination. The ... read more

The passion and excitement.

'shame' dropping a charismatic and BOLD 41 minutes lengthed of a post-punk album. What a way to introduce an album. My insights upon this album quickly altered after fully finishing it and longness amounts of reflecting. As I decided to endure a listen to this album not aware of its genre, just for the jolt of surprise. When beginning my first listen to this album, the sense of the oozing power coming out of the vocals and the constant element of surprise as the ... read more
