I respect this record more than I enjoy it. The instrumentation is impeccable but is difficult to grasp, albeit obviously intentionally, making it hard for the music to resonate. The lyricism is undisputedly impressive and genius, but it also lacks a sort of relatability or emotion that could make up for the instrumentation's lack of resonance. Logic showcases his technical rapping skills in this record, but the record feels slightly inaccessible. It's just too long, the skits seem unnecessary, and it just isn't distinct enough to set it apart. We've heard this boom-bap/retro production done better this year, we've heard this introspective style of rapping done better this year. Great production and rapping, it just feels just too bloated and familiar

The production is rich and hypnotic and every lyric felt deliberate and full of meaning. Ms. Mural is one of the best tracks of this year. While Autoboto easily stood out as the worst track on this album for me, and this record was held from being something truly special with its lack of a grander scale, it's full of beautiful moments and lyrics that place this among the best albums of this year.

Feel like it definitely could've been better. Love all three of them but it really coulda been any 3 artists. I fw Denzel and Cudi but JID really carried this track
