Fa-tal - Gal a Todo Vapor

The first part of this set is her solo w/ guitar when suddenly in song 9 Vapor Barato the whole band joins in. The first part of the set is calm and beautiful. Like Brel/Piaf/Joni Mitchell/Björk/Billie Holiday/Patsy Cline she hypnotizes her audience.
When the band enters it gets wilder, harder more experimental and not an ounce less beautiful. Gal´s voice is so mesmerizing, the Band is fearless and the songs are an entertaining mixture of Samba, Tropicalismo, Jazz and Psychedelic-Rock (just listen to the bass on De Um Role).
While in the first part of the set you could hear a feather fall to the ground the second Part left no one in their seats.

A masterpiece recorded live in 1970 when Gal was on her first peak and already in a class of her own.
As an artist she ranks among the greatest.
