Burna Boy - African Giant

I have no evidence to support this assumption, but I feel like I'd dislike this much more if I was more well versed in Afro-Fusion music. A lot of this shit just sounds bland, but some of it is so different from the Pop music I'm used to hearing that I can enjoy it to some extent. There are a handful of songs—most of which were singles—that I like, but none that I love. A lot of the songs sound cool at first, but get really stale by the time you pass the 1 minute mark. However, none of the songs stood out as being especially terrible. I even thought the Future collab was tolerable. Of course the most obvious criticism is that this album is way too long. I don't think Burna Boy will ever top Redemption for me, which is unfortunate, but I was able to enjoy some of the material here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
