Pop Smoke - Meet The Woo 2
Feb 8, 2020 (updated May 19, 2020)
69
Original Score: 41

After coming back to this, I realize that Pop Smoke’s style isn’t repetitive or redundant, unlike what I initially thought. The production may sound similar much of the time, but different elements make the tracks here distinguishable from each other. Pop Smoke’s flows and vocals are really solid, but the features are okay to me. The only feature that’s good is Fivio Foreign, everyone else uses heavy auto-tune that is really annoying to me and has little to no chemistry with Pop Smoke. Regardless, it’s sad to see Pop Smoke go because of the potential he had and demonstrated in this mixtape. RIP.
