Queens of the Stone Age - ...Like Clockwork

I always feel like the pacing is off with QOTSA and it leaves me a little unsatisfied and not appreciating it as much as most. Still a solid alternative rock album. Especially I Appear Missing, what a great track

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
75

A great album. A somewhat forgettable middle section. But a very pleasant listen nonetheless

Massive Attack - Mezzanine
95

My pick for the album with the best production. It's deep, atmospheric, and a master class for the Trip-Hop genre.

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
93

Incredible, beautiful, and timeless.

The Living Tombstone - Rust

Very disappointing. A political album that turns serious topics into Tumblr rants. The fun and quirky song structures and ideas from zero_one disappear with Rust. I understand that these albums are supposed to be representing the characters and Rust's personality is quite political. But the concept for zero_one was so much more interesting and cool compared to Rust which is just being a kind of cringe, edgy, letdown of a project. I really hate the lack of care for the production that was ... read more

Caravan Palace - Panic

I love this calmer and more mellow sound from Caravan Palace. It's a very pleasant listen that doesn't try to go off the rails. It's less energetic which can, understandably, be a turnoff. However, this album provides enough just enough groove to satisfy any electro swing needs.

Ween - La Cucaracha

The highlights on this album carry big time. Very disappointing ending to the Ween catalogue but that doesn't mean they didn't have a few sparks on the way out.

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

Oh my, much more beautiful than I remember

Ween - Pure Guava
85

Holy moly. It's so peak

Imagine Dragons - Reflections (From the Vault of Smoke + Mirrors)

The most inspirational piece of media to me. So many incredible ideas and unique sounds it almost doesn't feel real. It's stupid as poo fart but my god they have a song about a dang pony with a collapsed lung!!

Ween - 12 Golden Country Greats
80

Underrated. Eventually this album comes back to every ween fan and sticks with them for a couple months. The unreleased tracks on this thing are incredible.

System of a Down - Toxicity

The most evil woman showed me this record before ruining the next 6 months of my life.

Daniel Johnston - Hi, How Are You: The Unfinished Album
71

One of the more tragic listens I've sat through. Nothing else like it

Wham! - Last Christmas

Best Christmas song ever. Nothing will ever compare. I listen to it all year long and has always been one of my personal favorites

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
95

Cannot express how much I love this sound. A near perfect album with a very interesting and captivating story. Love the progression of IGOR and absolutely adore some of the sudden transitions between tracks. I think it fits with the chaotic and confusing concept of love and how to handle heartbreak. GONE GONE / THANK YOU is one of the best things to ever grace my ears

Tally Hall - Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
65

The album is all over the place, but is a very creative project. Sometimes you get greatness with tracks like Ruler of Everything or just straight up corny shit. It's fun and enjoyable 100%. I can see why some people would be obsessed with them

Yes - Close to the Edge
94

Timeless, beautiful, and adventurous. I'll never forget when I listened to this for the first time. Sadly, when you open with Close to the Edge, its hard to keep that energy going. However, while there may not be another song that hits like the title track, the rest is still a very enjoyable time.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
95

Magnificent in almost every way.
