Been a Lady Gaga fan since 2008, after that, I've also learned to love all these amazing artists that also push the sound of pop maybe not as loud as Gaga but as meaningful. I have adored them almost the same throughout time. To hear all of them be gathered in celebration of an album from my first ever idol and number 1 goddess is surreal to the most extensive point. I am beyond happy at this point. To listen to their own beat and rhythm and incorporate it into a record that celebrates pain and ... read more

Let me begin this by saying that I have been a Lorde fan since 2013 so to be able to see her reinvent and generate a distinct set of albums is a testament to her innate mastery of craftmanship that we all saw when she was just starting to enter the scene. "Solar Power" evidently is the most different of the three by its exhibition of a much warmer and more illustrious feeling in all the ways. Which definitely makes its title a perfect suit for how she wants us to experience when ... read more

I'm sure most people on here just likes to hop on the Iggy hate train. This album is not bad at all. At least in comparison to her previous one. We can actually hear some variety in some of the songs. Now, I'm not saying this is spectacular like that but I did enjoy it so much. It got pretty mundane in the last couple tracks but otherwise the rest of the songs are fun and catchy and surely made me pop my pussy down low. The bitch is trying. Get over it.

I feel like if this artist had so much more following, this album would blow up. This is the kind of sound them all eccentric kids and adults alike can enjoy just the same. Very stellar noise pop in my opinion. If you're a fan of Black Dresses and Xiu Xiu, you can find a humble appreciation with this record. There's a certain charm to it, which is ironic because the sonics are just nasty.

Incredibly soul-hitting. She tugs your little heart veins making it stop, only to let your blood flow freely again. The guitars sound like trickling liquid down your spine, cold enough to give the sensation of emotional belongingness. "Moving Cars" is definitely one of the highlights of this album. The symbiosis of the guitars and her voice made me quiver multiple times.

I am weak. I am a piece of shit in this cruel world. I reek of pity. I am not worthy but I submit to thee.

Damn, shoegaze albums this year are really something. This is just one you don't wanna miss if you enjoy today's shoegaze sound. Also, this might be my first time hearing a shoegaze band from Colombia. That's so awesome!

I am at a loss for words. This is impressive in all ways. Clairo is impressive. And I believe in the perfect time. This came at the perfect time. I lost it at Harbor. Fucking song. Tears all over. I can't have him. He's out there. But not with me.

I'm calling this dronegaze since we're all out here inventing genres like there's no tomorrow. Every song somehow sounded like it understood me instead of me understanding them. It sounded like every part of my body is numb but that I also felt everything at that moment. It's also just nice to add this to the albums that I space out to because reality just hurts way too much.

The surge of pop punk back into the scene is something I did not know I needed but I am here for it. One of the most recent ones is from Olivia Rodrigo who has like a couple of tracks inspired by early 00's pop punk in her new album. I really enjoyed Willow's new album, it's obviously inspired by that scene but she also put a spin enough for it to sound fresh in the new decade. Hell, she even got Avril Lavigne on here but also Tierra Whack. Like that's such a mind-blowing thing for me. However, ... read more

This was excruciatingly LONG but I somehow finished all of it. This is one of those it's so bad that it's good kind of albums. If you vibe with the aesthetics of Nicole Dollangangger and Ethel Cain but you want it more nonsensical and abstract, then you'll enjoy this. I enjoyed this but it's bad.

For some reason, I had no idea this was a live album until I started looking into it. It's the dynamic and tangible energy that this possess that made me think it's the only way to experience it. Not to be dramatic but I somehow almost made contact to every ancestor I ever had after being in this hypnotic state for what seemed like eternity. It was not unbearable. It was essential. The chants go on and on almost being your vehicle to your humanity.

This is like FKA twigs on acid. My brain malfunctions trying to think in what dimension or planet this came from. At some point and another, it felt like actual liquid matter that's flowing from my audio source and into my cochlea. There's a certain manipulation of sounds in this album that easily will transport you into a realm unknown.

This is Kero Kero Bonito but if they went the dream pop route mixed with indie rock as well. This sounds just like heaven to me.

Expected a little too much. Right now, I think it's just so bland and uninspiring. Maybe I need more time with it.
