More Songs about Buildings and Food

Talking Heads' second studio album released only a year after their debut album '77' featuring the hit 'Psycho Killer'. On this second album not very much has changed at all. Sound is still very similar which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just that for example the amazing track 'The Good Thing' has a chorus following melody which is very similar to the song 'The Book I Read' from the band's previous album. Despite this, I already thought that it got a little repetitive on the first allbum. While being a solid Post-Punk/New Wave album, it just doesn't stand out as much and doesn't feel as fresh as its predecessor. Nevertheless, 'More Songs About Buildings and Food' is still featuring fun and good tracks.
