Endlessly replayable, and surprisingly uplifting. Astounding last few tracks too
I can't believe this lost must hear this is actually so fire. Every tracks bangs so hard; its all so wild and groovy.

super flat song, doesn't really do anything until the last 30 seconds. the mix is too dry, peggys vocals are way too quiet beneaths the borderline annoying vocal sample. the guitar adds SOMETHING at least, but its too little too late.
for a lead single, sounding like a poor leftover of your previous album is mad
It's been a long 10 years. We moved house the week Prince died — its the primary point of reference for how long we've been here. I remember my parents being devastated. So of course, RIP Prince π
It's a pretty phenomenal record, unsurprisingly. From all the Prince I've been played through the years I never actually took the initiative to... listen to him fully? Groovy, funky, synthy, sexy — kind of has it all. The flowers ruin the album cover tho icl; once I ... read more

A mixing overhaul, a rework of the AI remnants, and a bit more time in the oven for the last 1/3 of the album and I think this could've been GREAT rather than just, GOOD.
If I'm being picky, the album can feel incoherent or confused at times. No clear, unifying sound or identity — 2000s chipmunk soul Ye one song, then an industrial ... read more
