Although it isn't a Björk led project, and she's mostly just a little surprise on three tracks, when she is there its very good. Not to say that the Dirty Projectors didn't make an exceptional little EP here. It definitely gives off that whole atmosphere of being on camping trip, or perhaps being in the forest that's located in the cover. The combination of the somber tones, pretty acapella, and intimate songwriting create a very nice, misty vibe that's nice to get lost in. I honestly feel like Björk was used on this project pretty well, not too much yet not too little to not even warrant putting her name on it. My favorite performance is definitely the ending track All We Are. It creates this perfect scene of being lost at sea or perhaps in a small village on the coastline of Iceland, longing for the partner you love as you watch and listen to the waves lick the shore. Overall, a very cute little project that makes me want to check out more from Dirty Projectors!
