Prince - Dirty Mind

Guys, for the past week I've been inviting y'all to vote on a music award me and a couple of friends do every year just for the fun of it. It was so much fun and I can't wait for next year already.

Like the title announces, this album delves deeper into Prince's sexuality. Sonically, it's an evolution from his sophomore in the way that it's a fusion of new wave, funk and dance with slinky synths. The production is pretty raw with an edge heightened by his falsetto. I can't imagine how shocking it must have been to put this on and hear for the first time the beat of the title track in 19 fucking 80, not to mention the incestuous 'Sister'.
