This rides the line between being TPAB B-sides and a great album in its own right
I really need to start reviewing worse albums so it doesn't look like I'm just handing out great scores
Anyone hear Get Lucky a shit ton as a kid only to not hear it for a couple years and then be surprised to hear it on this record after getting into Daft Punk/ music in general later in life? Too specific?
Surpassed my expectations as a sequel album (I always lower them out of skepticism)
Satisfying follow-up even though it couldn't surpass Deathconsciousness
Arrowheads, Arrowheads
Holy fuck this is haunting and terrifying... but sometimes, weirdly soothing
My favorite dad rock album (I kid), this record balances orgasmic instrumental build ups with top notch lyrism.
This album was kind of hard for me to get into at first, but once it clicked, IT CLICKED. Vespertine is just so beautifully arranged and will always be my personal favorite Bjork album.
Mildly hot take (sizzling take, if you will) incoming: This album is better than Revolver and SPLHC.
