I really wish I would’ve liked this more. It’s a one once in a lifetime collaboration album. By none other than Sufjan Stevens, Serengeti and Ryan Lott (Son Lux). The contrast between Sufjan’s mellow singing and Serengeti’s rapping is honestly amazing. The instrumentals were quite impressive too. I enjoyed the atmosphere and sound of the songs but it just couldn’t immerse me. I think I can attribute part of the fault to the lengthy runtime of the tracks. Sometimes they truthfully dragged on for me, losing me in between. I would still recommend this project even though i didn’t enjoy it that much. It’s amazing to see these artists collaborating. And who knows you just might end up loving it.
