Nero Forte

The last single from the WANYK era, and I'm already shitting my pants. I cannot overstate how much I love this song, and I would say this is the quintessential modern Slipknot song. There's just so much to love about this song, I'm surprised nobody has reviewed this song on this site.

I'll just get this out of the way now, this song holds one of Slipknot's greatest choruses. I love the combination of the calm ensemble battling Corey's intense, mean vocals, it's so addicting. The verse has some very well executed Slipknot chugging intensity, and the riffs overall are really good on this song, especially on the breakdown, which always makes me obscenely happy every time I hear it.

I don't know, this song is great, go listen to it.
