Almost every song features incredible bass lines (especially All The Loved Ones), soul-soothing jazz tones, and fantastic drums. In other words, this album has everything I could want from a hip hop album, so there's no reason not to call it a masterpiece or praise it to the skies. I don't know what TPAB means to you, but for me, musically, it's on the same level as TPAB. AOTY.
Perfect composition. Perfect guitar solos. Perfect story. Perfect two discs. Arguably the best album in history. This might sound like an exaggerated review, but the story this album tells captivates me.
Also it may seem strange, but One of My Turns tops my list of best songs.
This album features many songs that have secured a solid place in popular culture. Even those who haven't listened to the album are very likely to have heard these songs because of what they've seen in various places. In my opinion, albums like this create a culture independent of production quality or lyrics, and that's exactly what we see here. However, I believe this album is excellent regardless of its hidden popularity, and we inevitably overlook this because our ears are ... read more
One of the best musical farewells possible. But I have to say, I don't think Lazarus is as good as it's made out to be. It's a good song, but I definitely can't give it a 100. Tis' a Pity She Was a Whore and I Can't Give Everything Away are the tracks that make this album perfect.
The production quality is the best I've seen in recent times. Perfect, this is just perfect.
The Turkish Anatolian progressive rock band Hardal definitely managed to surprise me with this concept album, which is above the country's standards. I won't hesitate to say that I have never heard such a good sound from my own country before. The transitions in the songs, the solos, the instrumentation are truly top-notch, especially considering the conditions of the era. If we compare the studio where the album was recorded to Abbey Road, the studio where Pink Floyd worked, the gap ... read more
UNDERRATED!
It presents hell to us in the form of an album. As a story and concept album, it is incredibly well done and very well crafted. When evaluated musically, I don't mind that it contains more interludes than necessary; the experience it provides is excellent. All the Seats Were Occupied and Aegian Sea in particular are perfect, and one could talk about them at length.
I think this record is the modern day equivalent of The Dark Side of the Moon. This idea didn't just come to me out of nowhere; both albums present life to us in different tones and elevate the pleasure you experience with each new listen. I think I will see this pleasure climb even higher in the years to come.
This album commemorates one of the best albums in history in a calm and mature tone, and in my book, it's truly a good album. When I look at it through the eyes of an old man's commentary, I think you should be able to see that most of the songs are really good. The tone is very calm and makes you feel good.
I can understand why it gets so much hate compared to the original album, but making that comparison is ridiculous and unnecessary. It's really overhated.
I enjoyed it.
