Can't even describe how awful this is. Intro track showed promise and it just went downhill from there. Its just a bunch of minor rock radio singles with no real good hooks and below average lyrics. Only decent tracks are the intro track and Back to the Living. Yet again another bad album and its safe to say they peaked with Sound of Madness.
Only reason I gave this a 5 is because there were a few parts that made me chuckle at how bad it was. Complete garbage and Drake is nothing but a talentless idiot that only got famous cause he played a cripple in Degrassi. He has no business being in the music industry.
Extremely boring album. The vocalist completely ruins it for me.
A very boring album. There wasn't a single memorable moment in the entire album for me. No denying the musicianship is great and the production is good, but what does that matter if the content of the music is so painfully average. What a bummer.
This may very well be Lamb of God's best album of their career. Not a single bad track and it gets better with every listen. So happy to be back on board with this band again after the release of their last 2 lackluster albums.
As a Staind fan, I hated this album. So run of the mill and half-assed. Not a single memorable song on here.
I understand that nothing will top Blackbird and Fortress. That being said, this is leaps and bounds better than everything else thats came after Fortress. It's easily their heaviest album, it's catchy, and the production sounds nice and full. The only flaws really are the lyrics that can be pretty cringe worthy, especially on Playing Aces. As a fan since 2008, all in all, I'm certainly satisfied for the first time since Fortress.
While I don't typically like music that has satanic lyrics, I actually really enjoyed this album. Mainly trying to branch out and understand the lyrics from the singers perspective and it makes me enjoy it more.
Not sure why theres so much hate with the critics, but I've loved this album since high school.
I appreciate the experimentation but the this album is more miss than hit.
This band is juat very consistent. This album is probably the most accessible for people new to the band. Every song has catchy moments, and theres really no skippable tracks.
I tend to skip the last track, but Sick and Lavish has probably the catchiest chorus I've heard in the last 5 years.
Damn good album, though not as good as Empty Black or Keep It Quiet.
