This is one of the most genuine and mature records I’ve had the pleasure of listening this year.
It’s extremely sad what Kesha’s had to endure in the industry, it’s truly disgusting. It’s great of her to express herself so freely in this album! After so long of fighting for her own voice, it’s beautiful in a way. Nobody should have the power to silence another human being’s spirit.
The music in itself is very heartfelt and emotional! Introducing various electronic elements, to art-pop!
Songs like Eat The Acid are so entrancing! With its somber instrumental and repeating Motto, it’s kinda eerie in a way!
Peace & Quiet sounds like a Charli XCX song in certain aspects! And All I Need Is You is such a pretty song, I love it!
There’s really some bad people in this world. they want to bring you down, make you feel worthless… like trash. They make you feel like you’ve got no control over your life, make you feel like your feelings aren’t valid… It really hurts.
But there’s nothing more liberating than cutting off those vermin from your life! And finally seeing yourself for who you truly are! A person deserving of love.
