What a beautiful experience it was to listen to this; both the live performances and original songs were spectacular. I'm glad I listened to this, and I can't believe the scores from critics and users aren't higher
The album keeps constant energy for the whole hour whilst transitions each song together perfectly. This is album is pretty good.
Edward King Bass IV the greatest rapper ever released a singlee that could solve world hungger as always
Of course, the highlight of this song is Andre's verse; it's pure poetry
So this is my sister, and giving the most honest review. I feel she just needs to work on innovating creatively because while this is good, I believe in her to make something genuinely generational. But she has to lock in. Good job though
Have you ever listened to an album for the first time, thinking it wasn't really as good as you thought it would be, and then listening for the second time and wondering to yourself, WHAT WAS I THINKING
I think I just found the most beautiful song ever. I can't even put into words how much of a gift D'Angelo was to this world. D'Angelo's music will always be able to help us find our smile again, and I hope his music is appreciated and celebrated forever
"I don't rap, I write poems" - Jordan Carter (Playboi Carti)
They say Apollo was the god of music and poetry, but I think Apollo was just Playboi Carti in disguise because he was too humble and nonchalant to give himself credit.
Being serious, this was a decent album. Even though a little bit of the music can end up being horrible, most of the album, mainly the beginning and ending, was actually good, not to mention the influence this album has.
This album is like lying in a field of sunflowers with your best friend eating ice cream or something
I've been wanting to listen to D'Angelo for a few months now, but hearing of his death really pushed me to listen to this, and it's just amazing. One of the greatest albums of all time, in the top 25 at least. I hope D'Angelo rests well in his afterlife because he's blessed us with some of the smoothest neo-soul to ever exist.
Even though Get Rich or Die Tryin' was released after this, this has what that album was missing. This is so good.
This is like standing at the top of a building at 3 in the morning in New York or something
But really, this is one of the greatest songs of all time
