Literally one song in and I could tell this album would be something special. And it kept up in quality. It's like if Tame Impala, Fleet Foxes, Elliott Smith, and a jazz band had a baby, with all of the polish of a major artist production, from a bunch of (at least, from what I can gather) nobodies. Yeah, uh... best mandolin-focused folk song I've ever heard. This is one of the only folk tracks I know that can overtake any Iron & Wine song.
All jokes aside, this song has really grown on me since first listen in an ironic sense. I get a lot of satirical enjoyment from how godawful it sounds, and it's a fun club banger to boot.
