Chino will always surprise me with his vocals; if it wasn't for some tracks Diamond Eyes would be a near perfect album.
In the big 3 of those years ( Saturday Night Wrist, Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan ), Diamond Eyes has always been my least favorite just because it sounds just generally worse.
Maybe if Chi Cheng had been on this project, it would have been much better.

This, contrary to what many say, is not a bad album at all; on the contrary, it's a pleasant and fun listen. Being the band's first album, you can hear they still have a lot to work on, but it's a perfect start.

I don't know what the actual fuck I want to say about this project other than : this is the most unique, gorgeous, ethereal, fantastic, dreamy, well produced, triumphant, epic, perfect album from the 00's till now I think.
I spent 50 euros on the vinyl and now I'm broke but idgaf, I'm poor but happy.
I challenge everyone on the face of the earth to make something better than this, they absolutely fucking can't.
