I know this is lumped in with the scene stuff and I get it but this album is AMAZING. Band in general has a really good catalog. They have their own sound and but it's uniquely theirs. The songwriting is wonderful. Lots of twists and turns amongst their fairytale lyrical serenade. Really underrated band, riffs for days, great doomy stoner sound and production, really catchy, good speed and energy. The 2 albums they made are essential in the genre.

It's a good heavy metal album, it's so hard to think of it as black metal, while they try their best it just doesn't have the same atmosphere. Does still feel like a candlelight dungeon though. Laylah is a great track. Overall decent band and project but in terms of black metal ist hard to compare this to the greats.

I find this one underrated, the production is uniquely them still. Blackwinged is amongst their best tracks period, Blasphemer is also a rager. It's at a great length too at 35 minutes. I still greatly enjoy this project
