This album is a masterpiece. Yes, a masterpiece. An undeniable classic and must listen. Nas wrote Illmatic when he was 17 which shows the raw talent Nas had at such a young age. A lot of people feared he'll never make anything as good as Illmatic, and well they were right. From the features to the own verses from Nas, everything is top notch. The production feels a bit outdated but it still goes hard. It also features one of the best songs ever made in Hip-Hop that is The World is yours. The 3 track run from NY State of Mind, Life's a Bitch and The World is yours is amazing, goated track run for sure.
