Eh, fuck it, I liked it! I think it's 'cause I've been on a recent electronic, dance, and club music grind all at once, but this was definitely a really fun listen, even started dancing to some of the tracks when I really should've been listening lol. But anywho, can't wait for the next full-length LP when it does drop. And if it's a more evolved version of the palette we're getting here... I'm more than cool with that!

Nicki Minaj - Big Foot

No. Not even listening to this. Her bigoted ass doesn't deserve this. What she does deserve is the Kanye treatment. All of her songs need to be pulled from all playlists curated by the big streaming services (i.e. Nicki Minaj Essentials on Apple Music getting deleted), and any social media platforms that are still worth a damn need to ban her, 'cause there's no place for this kind of bullshit. It's gotten too far, and someone is going to get hurt if this continues any further.
John Lennon & Yoko Ono - Unfinished Music No. 1: Two Virgins

Self-Portrait was a 1969 film made by the artist Yoko Ono. Premiering at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London in 1969, the 42 minute film consisted of a single shot of John Lennon's semi-erect penis.

As Marty Scorsisi once said, "Absolute Cinema. I cri every tim."

...yeah, that's about it. The film will never be shown, but if you look at the demon (Lennon's banana) that is the album cover, you pretty much get the same result of watching something like this. Anyway, lol, ... read more

Lyrical Lemonade - All Is Yellow

The best way to describe it is that it feels both like a half-album and a compilation of unfinished demos at the same time. There's a lot of stacked names here, but the instrumentals really don't deliver something that we'd expect from these people. I guess 'underutilization' is the right word that I'm looking for? Yeah, that's how it is perhaps. Just a boring, disappointing listen with a few highlights throughout.

The visuals are very quite yellow though, and I can at least appreciate how ... read more

Hey R, I just released my first EP and I would really appreciate if you could review it. I put a lot of passion into my art and I would like to know your thoughts.

About the same. Haven’t heard it since GUTS so my feeling might change after relistening but my opinion as of now is there is a lot of great potential that I think she delivered on on GUTS, but on SOUR those moments suffer from growing pains. Which is normal for a first time artist, it’s honestly better than a lot can hope for from a first record.

How about you?

Just gonna copy+paste another comment I made about it.

Charli XCX, Uboa, MGMT, The Smile, IDLES, Run The Jewels, St. Vincent, Remi Wolf, Phoebe Bridgers, Nine Inch Nails, Street Sects, Lianne La Havas, Marmozets, clipping. , Deftones, Converge, By Storm, Arca, De La Soul, SOPHIE posthumous, and, like everyone else, Death Grips, Frank Ocean, and Radiohead. I’m also morbidly curious how Chance the Rapper and Justin Timberlake will followup their last disasters cus I’m fascinated by failure. And it’s 95% not happening but hey, if André 3000 can come back with a new project then maybe Zack De La Rocha can too.

I like it more than a lot of people seem to, but it definitely feels like a safe retread of what worked before, except with overall weaker production. As a teaser for an upcoming era I enjoy it, but I hope it’s just a teaser that bridges us from one era to the next instead of being indicative of what the album as a whole is going to be like

My library has a mix of things I have on Apple Music, CD, AND Vinyl. I figured I should make it clear what I have on vinyl, so that's what this list is for.
