Naaah, confirmed Rocky doesn't have a single miss in his discography
Testing was surprisingly solid. The album as the name indicates was pretty experimental but i think it was greatly done here. If it wasn't for the Kodak Black song and the French Montana one this album would have been on the level of his other stuff.
Fav songs: A$AP Forever, Fukk Sleep, Hun43rd and Distorted Records
Can't wait for "Don't be Dumb" Now, i bet it's gonna be AWESOME!!!
And here we have another amazing project from A$AP
Although it has a more commercial tone the songs here are all extraordinary and it would be A$AP's best album if it wasn't for F*kin Problems and Wild for the Night...
Such evident attempts to create hits from Rocky LMFAO, what are they even doing here 😂. Wild for the Night specially has aged horribly, and it doesn't help that i hate EDM, skip imo.
For the rest great album
Probably Rocky's best project. Incredibly solid, not a single bad song. The last 2 songs (Demons and Sandman) are absolutely amazing.
However i feel like At Long Last A$AP has better highs
Man, this album surprised me, it's amazing!!
CLB had no chance against this album. Donda had some amazing production and some beautiful moments in here. However it was LOOOOOOOONG as hell. It dragged a lot and i got kinda bored by the end (even without listening to the pt 2 songs)
Fav songs: Belive What i Say, Pure Souls,, Off the Grid
Amazing album all through the 10 songs. What an incredible way to end a career. I'm still hoping we get something new from Hov though...
The songs were all amazing, with top tier production from no ID and great song writing. Fav songs: Caught their Eyes, Story of OJ, Bam and Family Feud
Unpopular opinion, but this is better than The BLack Album
I don't get the hate, this album wasn't a bad listen by any means. There were some cool cuts in here. Selah and Closed on Sunday were great.
Amazing album with amazing production.
The rapping from Jay is great, the highs of this album are so good: Never Change, Song Cry, Heart of the City. Even the worst tracks were still good
I'm not sure if it deserves being top 12 album of all time like Apple Music says, but it's definately on the top 10 best rap albums of the 20th century.
PD: Unpopular opinion, but Eminem DID NOT MURDER JAY-Z ON RENEGADE. Jay-Z's lyrics on the song were awesome yet Eminem had the better rhyme scheme so his ... read more
Can someone tell me what astronomical event happened in 2015 as to have so many good rap albums released???
Rodeo is probably the best trap album ever released. Perfectly mixes the hard-hitting energetic style of trap with inovation and unique songs.
90210 and NightCrawler are incredible songs.
EDIT: This shit just gets better with each listen, such a good project tbh
85--91
This album is a masterpiece.
Undoubtly rocky's best album it perfectly matches experimentation and artistry with quality.
The cloud rap style that A$AP does in songs like Fine Whine, Canal ST, Pharsyde, Jukebox Joints and others is so original.
Still the tracklist had multiple songs which i wasn't a fan of.
Undoubtly will become a modern classic.
People were right this is one of Kanye's best works.
The production is amazing, there isn't a single unecessary or bad feature.
The lyrics are great most of the times, and although there are some misses (looking at you Freestyle 4) it's overall a nice expirience.
Loved the highs.
Also: FACTS > Jumpman
This is soooo solid. Banger after banger, almost no filler.
However big difference compared to his other 2 big classics (The Blueprint & Reasonable Doubt) there were no songs here that i considered masterpieces (no "Feelin it", no "Dead PResidents ii", no "Never Change" or no "Heart of The City")
Fav songs: Dirt off your shoulder, Threat, Moment of Clarity, Lucifer
(Also this is an unopopular opinion for many old-heads and hiphop heads, but this ... read more
This album is SOOOOO good. I really understimated it. All the tracks are killer.
My only issue is that the last 2 songs aren't necessary. If the album ended with Gone it would be Kanye's best album.
Btw this might be Kanye's best rapping ever.
The production is beautiful Kanye & Brion did a great job
EDIT: It grew even more on me. This is top 2 Kanye
Kanye's most known and most famous album. It's the album that made him the superstar he is today.
So many amazing songs on this album. Songs like Flashing lights are absolutely gorgeous, but at the same time songs like Barry Bonds are hideous.
Still i think this album is amazing in terms of production (except for the obvious duds Barry Bonds and Drunk & Hotgirls) but the main problem on this album is probably the obvious downgrade on rapping and lyrics in comparision with his old albums ... read more
It was an interesting listen. Really different from what i'm used to from Kanye, the songs were pretty original, but except from maybe ghost town i don't see myself coming back to any of these songs. Some of these were kinda poorly executed, and others like Violent Crimes are absurdly overrated. But i must agree that Ghost town was amazing.
The whole introspective lyrics thing is cool but not my cup of tea, tbh. But i apreciate it.
I don't get the fuzz with this album.
I think it's very loud in some instances, and the production is overblown. Example: songs like Blood on the Leaves or I am a God. And then you got songs like On Sight which are unlistenable music.
Maybe i'm just not a big fan of the industrial hiphop sound. I suppose it's not my stuff if people love it so much, LOL.
However the Highs are some of my fav Kanye songs of all time.
Best songs: Black Skinhead, Hold my Liquor
Worst songs: On Sight 🤢 and Send it ... read more
Incredibly influential. I find it to be overhated. This album is the shit, the songs slaps and the production is beautiful
Still the lows i'm not a big fan of them
Best song: Welcome to Heartbreak
Least fav song: See you in my nightmares
My fav Kanye album and one of my fav albums of all time. My fav song ever is from this album as well.
However i don't think it deserves the title of best Kanye album ever, the bars and rapping is not on the level of The College Dropout. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy's highs are some of the best songs i have ever heard, but the lows here are worse than the lows in the College Dropout.
Fav songs: Lost in the World, All of the Lights (love this one to death) & Power
Least fav songs: ... read more
Kanye's debut should be considered on the top 20 best Hip Hop albums of all time.
The production is killer, the lyrics are dope and it's a fun listen overall. It's Kanye's best, although i enjoy MBDTF much more though.
Fav songs: Jesus Walks, Never Let Me Down, Two Words, Family Buisness.
Least fav song: Get Em High
