for all the memorability that the highlights on this album has, man it does start dragging at points. i can totally see why it's beloved and is definitely by a long shot his best work though. long time is generational

I wish more pop music had writing this sophisticated. This album doesn't hide under anything overly grand, it's just fucking fantastic music against lush instrumentation and beautiful lyrics. Everything about this album is near perfect and deserves the praise.

I gotta say man I don't know what I was expecting going into this. One of the hardest headbangers of my entire life was certainly not on the list, but I digress. This is possibly the greatest debut album I've ever heard? I might totally be forgetting something but when I'm asked that question in the future this is gonna come to mind immediately.
