god DAMN this grew on me a bit. as hard as this album falls flat in some cases (i.e. the noise tracks, which are just awful) the theming and execution of almost every idea present in the caretaker's debut is absurdly well executed. i really have nothing more to say other than it's DAMN creepy. turns out the 20s and 30s were awful times to be alive, who da thunk.

i genuinely don't understand how people can say with a straight face that logic is an outright bad rapper, unless the latter stuff truly is that awful. idk, but this was incredible. i might need to listen to it again but almost every track pulls its own weight perfectly.
this is slightly unironic to some extent. the production on this song is actually beautiful
