sounds absolutely nothing like dawn fm, maybe that's just the only synthpop album u've personally heard

The problem isn't you thinking that it's mid, that's absolutely fair. The problem is this Dawn FM comparison, which doesn't make much sense. Dawn FM is a much more mainstream-oriented modern dancey Synthpop take, whilst this album pulls inspiration from a much more niche Post-Punk adjacent Synthpop scene, aiming instead for this bleak atmosphere. My comments weren't a personal attack though, just kinda rubbed me the wrong way seeing people trying to corroborate their dislike for the record with The Weeknd comparisons

@rater_ratings Fair, there was a large difference in atmosphere and sound selection in this album, guess I should've just said I prefer dawn FMs. 🤝 I'll listen to some more synth pop later

I respect your review but comparing it with Dawn FM in the comments is not right and you know what, yeah. Sometimes the production does carry the album especially on Can't Save Her.
