As summrs departs from his pluggnb style on disc 1 of this album, he delivers 10 bangers that don’t hold anything back. The only things fans had to prepare themselves for fallen raven side 1 were the tracks “Got rich”, “Get Zoed”, and “Ghost Glocks”. Admittedly, this sound takes a bit of influence from summrs’ contemporary and frequent collaborator, kankan, but summrs holds this tracklist together far better than kan has on any of his albums. Other influences here are Glo beats and a bit of youngboy, but Summrs’ flow is enough to carve out his own sound. The beats are influenced by glow, but they are more simple than most glow beats, having more space in between the chords, which creates room for summrs to display how his voice puts a spin on what could’ve been seen as biting
If this style of glo/plugg becomes more popular after this we gotta wlr situation
Side 2 is more pluggnb, it’s pretty hit or miss for me. Doesn’t come close to what we have or nothing more nothing less at all.
