This album blew me away. I knew nothing of this band before listening to it but just heard some buzz around it from reviewers on this site and decided to give it a shot by going in mostly blind to how it sounds. from the front cover I kind of just expected some high energy j-pop music from this group but instead I was hit in the face with high energy punk rock and I loved almost every second of it. The only complaint I can possibly have for this album is the fact that some of the songs sound a ... read more

I'll be honest, I haven't heard any of Lana Del Rey's work but this album was very enjoyable. Her soft spoken yet powerful style of singing is very well done. Her attitudes towards love and the self-confidence that she exudes on this album are very prominent and her way of singing and choice of words exude maturity and experience. I enjoyed this album a decent amount and my main complaint is the length of the project as I feel she didn't need this many tracks to make an album like this.

I refused to rate most EPs because I feel that there's different rules when it comes to what makes a good or bad EP versus a good or bad album. But even though I'm not rating this, I think these stripped down versions of the original songs are beautiful as hell and are a very interesting way of presenting the already amazing songs from Titanic Rising. I liked all of the songs and this was a great EP.

I can't help but feel like Rex is punching way below his weight with this album. Apricot Princess was just better in every way. More memorable songs, more emotion in all of the songs, and more creativity. This album feels like it could have been more, had Rex put more effort and care into it but he didn't. It's almost as if this sounds like an album made by someone who was inspired by Rex Orange County but doesn't have the skill yet to fully replicate him. Not a huge fan of this project.

Wow, for an album that's been delayed too many times to count, this sure feels like kind of a rushed mess.

There's poor mixing on tons of the tracks on here that make either the instrumental or the vocals sound pretty inconsistent. The choir on the song Every Hour sounds like it was spend up and the audio was compressed to the point where you can hear tons of audio artifacts whenever they hit high notes. The bass on follow God has crackling sounds that make it sound low quality whenever it ... read more

Hi, my name is Rasheed and I love music. All of my reviews are primarily based on enjoyment and secondarily based on the structure and ingenuity/creativity of the album. All of the albums in my library are albums I physically own as records. I hope you enjoy my reviews
