Carly Rae Jepsen - Dedicated
May 19, 2019
82
Jepsen may be more successful releasing her tracks in a series of EPs (like that of B-sides). 15 tracks hardly allows a listener to absorb the brilliance of her catchy hooks without being overly saturated with bop after bop. There are however, several throw away tracks on this album. The worst being "Feels Right" which has a chord progression and guest appearance in the chorus, much like that of Taylor Swift's recent dreadful candy pop single.
The album is ultimately saved by several great tracks like "too much" "want you in my room" and "no drug like me"
