Tyler, the Creator - Flower Boy

Although this might not technically be the album closer, to my eyes it is. This is my favorite Tyler song, and one of my favorite songs period. Tyler, the Creator - IGOR
basrdhim‘s, Basic_Garci’s, and one of redbded’s pick: ARE WE STILL FREINDS?

What a way to finish an album The rising intensity of the track combined with Tyler’s begging for forgiveness is just so compelling.
Big K.R.I.T. - 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time
andiov’s and one of redbded’s picks: Bury Me In Gold

A phenomenal, southern, jazzy, and amazing cut from KRIT. Such an amazing send off to the album.
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
aadeel’s, one of ConcreteCastles’ and YessYessYess’, and formerly redbded’s pick: Mortal Man

What a closer man, that interview with Pac is crazy, and how the poem gets bigger and bigger throughout the album and than finishes at the end is just genius in my eyes. When Kendrick says Pac? Pac? I get full on chills.
Radiohead - Kid A
ElectricMess’ and one of redbded’s picks: Motion Picture Soundtrack

Absolutely stunning. The chimes (I think they are chimes)at the end are beautifully placed, and Thom’s performance on this one is just perfect.

you come out your shit is gone
I was thinking about this a lot until i remembered Fishmans - Long Season (Live)
and honestly there's lots of other great closers but that is just on another level musically and contextually
For me, it's gotta be "After Hours" off of the Velvet Underground's self-titled 3rd record. Just a very pretty, well-written, simple little acoustic song that does a great job of putting the album to bed.

If I had to choose a 2nd place winner, it'd be "Rock n' Roll Suicide" from "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars"
gotta be ‘a day in the life’ from sgt. peppers for me :)
Piano Burning from There Existed An Addiction to Blood
i'm funny
I’d say the 3 best closers on a record have to be off of TPAB, IAOTS, and LYSF.
Saint Pablo from The Life of Pablo. Also Last Call from TCD, Compton from Good Kid Maad City, and Ben's my Friend from Benji.
Worlds by Porter Robinson and Goodbye To A World, probably
nice list! :)
I mean Mortal Man is hard to beat. I really like the closer of Illinois though even though its an instrumental. Nice list!
U guys can tell me if u don’t want glitter to be my pick, I just love it too much for it not to be on here, and in my eyes, enjoy rn today is more of an epilogue to the album, like credits to a movie for me.
From The Morning off Nick Drake's Pink Moon
