the breakdown on New Faces In The Dark blew my face off holy shit. Might be one of the best breakdowns ever

REVIEW REPOST #050. I repost my old reviews, which got no attention, with updated thoughts. Posted this review last year, but I'm posting it again.

It's like Deftones mixed with Metalcore mixed with Djent. I'm HERE for it. What a fucking insane blast this project was. Absolutely wild.

Let me start off with the guitar tone... That shit sounds so crisp and DEEP and amazing it's actually crazy. The vocals range from absolutely angelic to absolutely demonic, with amazing performances and writing. The instrumentals have a crazy amount of variety, yet they never lose any momentum. The album just keeps going and never stops and you don't want it to stop.

This really took me on an adventure, I was going crazy over damn near every single song here. Like this project has it all, it's literally damn near flawless. It takes its obvious influences (which I love btw, Deftones is my fav band), and puts them together into this creative mayhem of sound.

One of the greatest modern Alt Metal/Metalcore albums released, honestly.
