I don't really like any genres that have "math" in their title. Math Rock, Mathcore... It's just music with no direction, or structure, that is really random, and doesn't leave an overall impact on me. It also isn't replayable.
But this surprised me. I actually kinda liked it, especially the "Title Track", that one was awesome.
The genre isn't anything for me, but this was a good example of how it should be done, even though it shouldn't be done LOL

You probably think math rock has no direction or structure cause you've only heard Polyphia, but theres plenty of math rock bands that have much more pleasing rhythms like Tricot, Toe, Tide/Edit, early Black Midi, you you you all the same, a picture of her, and a few others I can't think of off the top of my head

@TwistyFresh I never heard Polyphia idk where u got that from, and I have heard Black Midi which I liked but wouldnt consider Math

just an assumption, most of the time when people say they don't like math rock it's because they've only heard Polyphia/Ichika Nito etc.
