Easily the most experimental album of theirs. I used to eat this shit up as a kid. Now that I’m a grown ass man this album did not age well
Some of the songs on this album are so buns. And the eq mixing is terrible. The instrumental is way too loud and the vocals sound muffled as all hell. It gets even worse with the deluxe although I’m talking about the base album for now.

After fucking destroying TVT with Their EP Broken Trent mixes both pretty hate machine and broken into one beautifully disturbing album about self destruction and it is pure perfection. From the gritty synths of closer combined with the more industrial tracks like the becoming this is a perfect album to listen to all the way through
