It's fire but it feels a bit directionless. Most of the songs are good but it switches from deep to goofy to hype songs way too much. If he just focused on one of these elements I reckon it would be way better. That being said Keem has established himself as a fire rapper in his own right even if his come up is a direct result of Kendrick's cousin and this album is certainly a solid release.
Edit: Ca$ino (the track) is so fire
Genuinely just phenomenal. Soulful production mixed with Cole’s deep lyricism this project was genuinely an amazing experience.
Heartfelt lyrics and great production. Coles best work to date but I feel like I just want a little more
I reckon this song is why the 20s decade is so bad this is so obnoxious and Australian radios played it way too much I couldn’t get it out of my ears (I’m Australian btw). This song is a disgrace to my country
I never loved Tyler and this project just sounded like Tyler just wanted to release an album for fun which I mean is good for an industry focused purely on profitable projects and profitable musicians. There’s nothing great about it and for the most part forgettable tracks with a baby Keem feature.
Lupe had a masterpiece and then dropped mid ahh remixes and a fire single. Lupe is one of my favourite rappers but this feels like he’s just riding how off how good Samurai was. Regardless it wasn’t awful
Is it good? Yes, did it have amazing elements? Yes, is it amazing? Not really. The album was definitely solid and Dave is the (probably) best UK rapper right now even after the massive UK rap boom we have been seeing recently. I just can’t get behind Dave’s delivery it feels like he’s just talking like a normal guy over some beats. Regardless I’m excited to see if his next album is a growth from this one because if it is I am in go a treat
Like girls always tell me ‘if it was longer it would’ve been better’. Ths album was still straight fire though production is elite and Lupe is a top lyricist with amazing chemistry with Soundtrakk
Lupe displays his incredible talent in a deep, interesting and above all, creative project of consistent tracks with some amazing standouts
Jay Z has a great swagger that really comes through on this project. The album is very consistent, well put together and the production is elite (shout out Kanye)
Some of the tracks get a bit corny but for the most part it’s super solid with the production working really well with the deliveries of EsDeeKid and the many featured rappers. I genuinely think this album could pave the way for a resurgence of the rap genre into the pop culture with UK rap but we would need to see a few standout projects from EsDeeKid, Fakemink and other UK underground rappers
I’m not even gonna cap this is fire I don’t blame girls for having a parasocial relationship with Taylor Swift
DJ premier x Nas project on it should be way better than an 8/10. Kings disease III is way better I don’t know why I waited 2 years for this only for it to come out ok. Like no hate it’s not a bad album but it’s not top 3 for Nas which I thought it would be. Like we waited 2 years if more effort was put into the album. The beats were good not great and the rapping was good not great and considering we have a top 5 producer and a top 5 rapper working on a project for 2 years ... read more
Shi was alright some tracks were solid and some of it was corny asf and the production was not what I was expecting off a 21 savage album coz he can do way better
