I am going to give this album another chance just because of this song

Just got around to listening to this more in-depth now

I do not hate this album as much as others do, but I can definitely see why people would hate most of this, except for maybe the first 2-3 songs on here which honestly seemed okay. The rest is just so offensively inoffensive and generic musically, lyrically as well as thematically, that it actually ends up being one of the most boring fucking albums I've ever listened to.

I say this as someone who heard this a few months back and just ... read more

OH GODDDDDD This literally sounds like it could have dropped in fucking 2012 and no one would bat an eye. Also Ed is rapping again with Eminem again for some reason, but Em doesn't even sound that much better than Ed in terms of lyrics on here which is fucking saying something. Em also sounds like he's back in 2013 again with the same choppy fucking flow he's got. Even 50 also sounds lame here and lost all his usually cool energy that makes me sometimes actually want to listen to him.

(original 70)

First track is an 18 minute 9/10 with hints of perfection that end up sounding even better than most of Bitches Brew, second track is also pretty good. That honestly sounds like it could be a grower.

the chorus is admittedly okay imo...the rest is...

This has some really good songs, but they seem to be mixed in with ones with over-the-top, boring, pretentious indie hipster instrumentation to mask the fact that nothing interesting is actually happening.

still accurate

This is such a great, well-produced instrumental hip-hop album, that is hard-hitting, as well as sometimes just relaxing to put on in the background when doing other stuff. I can also see this growing on me which is a huge bonus.
