It's not the most polished mixing or production, buttt the rock ROCKSS!
loved its intensity.
loud.
this is my typa thing. mr. dinosaur was cooking real early, this was released in 1987? damn
1001 albums to hear before you see jesus and mary, the virgin
100# omg first hundred albums. until now it's been very interesting and some days I'm more in the mood or just can't listen to anything because i'm outside, but have to get back to it the next day and compensate. For the albums appearing.. i thought i would know the majority and more, but i only knew the majority of them and didn't had listened to quite a lot of them, so the objective of it all is being ... read more

its big ainnit. thats mostly what drags me out of it and i really didn't appreciate some parts of it. Too many intros to something that'll only take place like minutes after.
Of course it's a hell of a record history-wise and is grandiose just for itself.
Um i don't like the mix too. things are veryy far away, at least the things that i'd like to hear in front of me, like vocals and guitars.
my dud is ooooonn
I love all the drum sounds, they hit hard. His weird deep voice is what mostly drives me in. Without his melodies and performance, this wouldn't be that interesting. Obviously the production makes much of Owusu performance shine.
1001 albums to hear before you start seeing all of the lights

from the orchestral beats, to the hilarious and deep lyrics. this is the Kanye album.
Lost in the world with Bon Iver might be my favorite, despite all of the lights and runaway being objectively better, I have the nostalgia factor.

So.. the sounds are really good and satisfying. Respect for it being a pioneer on electronic music and all, but it didn't have more appeal to me. Too drawn out for me. Neon lights is the highlight (ha funny)

His performance is just so infectious. I already loved Otis Redding, but didn't listen to any of his albums front to back just singles. This guy doesn't miss.
Try a little tenderness is one of my favorite songs of all time, so yeah this hits me right in the right spots.
Didn't know that the song Respect was originally from Otis and not from Aretha Franklin. And it's really interesting to see the meaning of the song change by which ... read more
Love her voice and the weird but really clean production.
Classy.
Short but sweet and really versatile.
I'm laughing so hard. This is awfull. The production can be so ridiculous. Features make it worse i don't know how, but when Drake enters, it's also not to advocate in his favor.
This was so off the rails
Nothing makes sense. Almost zero sense of songwriting, or like what sounds clean.
Drake doing that Jamaican impressions aaaaa

The band, yeah this is the band, not any band but the band. The one and only band
Well, nowadays this sound doesn't excite anybody that has been living since the 2000s. Can be confused by another country rock album, but this has substance and the instrumentations are rich. And doesn't fall in the category of sounding samey.
That said, I understand it is good and playful but it didn't stroke me.

the beats go krayyy, it's a bit a sentiment of the time but it's also really inventive with the synths that remind me of George Clanton.
The lyrics are really straightforward telling stories and criticizing society in a way i find enjoyable, without needing a deep listen to understand it all.

another band who likes to play with the stereo lol
messy production for a Jpegmafia track. I'm not feeling this will be some gud album..
The vibe is kind of the 'either on or off the drugs' but with nothing special to say.
peggy sounding uninspired wasn't what i expected.
1001 albums to hear before you get vio.. wow chill

Depeche mode. rips. ass.
Just this. I won't add nothing more to the discussion of this fantastic dark atmosphere banger of an album.
1001 albums to hear before you encounter a Doors wannabe

The doors if they didn't experiment further.
Well, it's a bit harsh to infere that Iron Butterfly didn't experiment. They did. But it's drowned down for boring passages and nothing really remarkable to right home about.
1001 albums to hear before you eat a hot chip

some goofy (night and day) catchy, danceable and really well produced, assemble of songs. I didn't expect this to surprise me at all, but i had a blast.
Nothing deep, just dance to it when shoving your teeth, yeah, shove your teeth please, it's not the best breath you have.. am this is embarrassing. Go on, go shove it to hot chip.
