this album has the weird effect of making me think about the worst things that are happening right now in the world. there is a contrast between the almost hopefull and liberal message and the context it was created and the repercutions of the xx century right now.
had no reaction, i thought for a moment that maybe peggy´s formula got kinda washed but this album made me revisit his first 3 albums and now i know peggy is trying to be smth that he use to be. just compare any of this songs to "i killed a cop now i´m horny" and just makes me feel like bro u were already experimental, experimentalism its not mixing genres and thinking you are above genres, experimentalism its having a vision and redirecting all your tools to a materialist ... read more
its good but doesnt had the same organic analog feeling that i love from the previous ep. City Slicker feels like a time capsule, the pallete of sounds are so full and everything fits in their right place in the arrangement. This ep has good songs but doesnt have the same effort than the previous one, sometimes you can notice the "midi-ness" of some instruments, that can be a choice but i personally feel like its out of the style that is trying to present
