Anyways, 98.12.28 has gotten legend status as "the greatest live album of all time", and I would agree with people ... read more
Of course this was going to be good, but damn.
I see people comparing this to 98.12.28 by Fishmans on this website and on RYM, and I can see why. While this is an hour shorter, it features an extremely extended version of Into the Endless Night, which was released in 2021 at 9 minutes, and this version is 46 minutes. Will this be looked back on as highly ... read more
Screw it, I'm giving it a 99.
I can't give this a 100 on first listen, it just doesn't feel right, even though I find it incredible in every aspect. The same points that I said in my previous Ichiko Aoba review apply here as well. Sure, it's not very different to that album, but it's at the same level of greatness for me. パッチワーク almost got me to cry, which is saying something. Even though I listen to a lot of sad and emotional music, I don't cry to ... read more

Due to the recent discussion of an Onkyo album (which I will not name here), I've been interested in the genre. I've seen that many people have called this a good starting point for the genre, so I just decided to start here.
This album feels like it's floating in an empty void in some far off place. It feels cold and warm simultaneously, even wet sounding (on Nimb #6). It kind of feels like the soundtrack to a sci-fi movie at points. I can't really say much ... read more
I just started "seriously" messing around in FL Studio trying to make music, and once I go back to an album like this one, I kind of lose hope in my future of being a musician. There's no possibly way I'm making an album that's as good as this one. Not in a million years. Even if I had access to a studio with instruments, there's no way I would come out with something even half as good as this ... read more
