Probably The Smiths strongest album. The mix of Morrissey’s vocals and Marr’s guitar is usually a highlight of a Smiths album and it’s the same situation here. ‘Cemetery Gates’ is one of Morrissey’s greatest songs lyrically.

I don’t really get the hype around this album. It is far too long than it needs to be and a lot of the lyrics seem rather lazy. That being said there are a few tracks I enjoy but other than those few there’s not much here for me. can probably do better.

I absolutely love it. Radiohead albums always deliver (with very few exceptions), this is no different. A lot of this album was inspired by Thom Yorke’s relationship with his wife which makes for majority of the lyrics and music being quite depressing but that’s isn’t a problem as you could argue that this is when Thom and Radiohead are at their best. Standout tracks include Burn The Witch, Daydreaming, Decks Dark, Ful Stop, Glass Eyes and True Love Waits.
