fun lil tune, the lyrics are so-so but the instrumental makes up for it

this is one of my favorite albums of all time. i love everything about it. i love the music, i love the lore, and i love the fanbase around it. it accompanied me throughout my awkward times in high school, obsessing over unrequited love. its also been at my side in my adult life as well.

the muddy distorted sound of the guitars of the whole thing make it feel heavy hitting and powerful.

i love this thing man. its just pure fun, pure vibes. its very creatively written and is bursting with personality. the beats are very bright, sweet, and childlike for such violent hoodrat subject matter, and i think that juxtaposition makes it beautiful.

this album is a relatively easy listen for a nine inch nails project. its hard hitting, with the subject matter being paranoid, lonely, distrustful and the feeling of being lost. my personal favorites on the album being all the love in the world, the collector, and only. this album doesn't really have any low points. even the slower and quieter songs are still hard hitting and offer a nice change in pace without feeling out of place.

this album makes for a very easy listen. fun, vibey, sexy, and summery. i love the way all the tracks blend together to make it sound like one long song. its to the point that sometimes i honestly can't even tell the tracks apart. i feel like the album should've ended with only have eyes 42, but the actual ending track isn't bad. it just feels more like an epilogue than anything, but maybe that's the point.

yeezus is my favorite kanye album, absolutely no contest. its abrasive, in your face, loud, braggadocious, confident, egotistical, literally everything that kanye is. and i detest the notion that this is anything like death grips. the beats may be quirky and experimental, but its still too traditional hip hop to sound like anything like a death grips album.
